Our Makerspace
Our makerspace is where all the robot magic happens! Located right inside Cary Academy, it serves as the hub for all our meetings, practices, and innovation. Our space is fully equipped with a wide range of tools, including a waterjet, laser cutter, 3D printers, and more, enabling us to bring our creative ideas to life. But it wasn’t always like this. When our team was founded in 2014, we started in a modest corner of a middle school classroom. In 2016, we upgraded to a larger corner in a newly developed makerspace. Finally, in 2019, Cary Academy expanded the Center for Math and Science (CMS) to include a state-of-the-art, open, and flexible makerspace, which has been our home ever since.
